Epoz started the development of AktiMate back in 2006.

Initially with the help of two iconic British companies, the Mini was released in December 2007
and carried a pedigree which set it apart from the rest. Utilising technology licensed
from Creek and Epos it received rave reviews and once launched internationally, it became
highly sought after in many parts of the world. The international press for this Australian
product has been nothing short of sensational!  http://www.aktimate.com/pressreviews.html

The success of the Mini led to the development of the Maxi. Offering an abundance of features, the
Maxi was  somewhat revolutionary offering so many options within an active hi-fi speaker guise.

AktiMate is often referred to as an iPod speaker but in fact is far more than that. First and foremost
both models are active hi-fi speakers with inputs for the connection of any source product. With
the inclusion of good quality amplification, it is the basis of a true hi-fi system. The fact that it has
a concealed iPod dock can only add to the attraction.

AktiMate has its own website - www.aktimate.com - where you can find everything you could ever
want to know about these products. Naturally you can also read about them here, including the
latest release.

In 2011 Epoz decided to take hold of the reins for all AktiMate future development moving entirely
to its own development. The first resultis the AktiMate Micro - the release date being October 2011.
The full story of the Micro development appears on the AktiMate site
