Rab Turner opened Carlton AudioVisual in Melbourne more than seventeen years ago. It has long been rumoured that prior to the opening was the last time he had had his hair cut - and to be honest, he is as well known for his head of hair as he is for his highly successful hi-fi business.

It is probably a fair assumption to accept - and we are sure he would not object to us saying this -  that the original store in Lygon Street has not changed in the seventeen years either.

But last weekend Rab, along with his wife and daughter, shaved their heads - in an effort to raise money for an extremely worthy charity. We congratulate him - it cannot have been an easy decision to reach after such a long time. And especially heading into the Melbourne winter...

If anyone wants to donate to his chosen charity, all details are on the Carlton web site www.carltonaudiovisual.com.au

Even though the hair is now long gone, the charity remains - as does its need for support.

So all you Melbourne folk who are heading to Carlton to check out the latest from Creek, Epos or AktiMate, feel free to seek out Rab and give him a pat on the back!
